Hi

I came across this site by accident whilst looking for old photos of various ships I served on with the New Zealand Shipping Company.

I left the sea in 1973 and now, after all this time, feel very nostalgic for the 5 years I spent seeing wonderful places in the world and living amongst real friends on board some of the best ships around at that time.

I will certainly make time to browse this site and hopefully bump into the odd former BOT acquaintance!

Hi Guys
Glad I found this site - never been made to feel so welcome!
My ships were Otaio (cadet and exec cadet) , Mataura, Haparangi (Scraparangi!) , Trewidden(yuck!) and last trip as 5th eng on Taupo in '73.
I have already spotted some names from the past in the Forums and will get around to contacting them asap.
