Just joined and hope with your help I can be pointed in a direction that will enable me to trace my late fathers history in the Mercantile Marine, in particular his service during WW2 when, I understand, he was Captain of a Troop Ship that was sunk in the Med during the latter part of the war.
Now that we are retired we have found the sea again and our last voyage was on Dawn Princess which was fantastic and have booked again for next year ... same ship and same cabin for trip around Australia.
