Just been reading about this interesting Japanese high speed ferry

Nice to see a 30kt ferry looking like a ship and an attractive design at that - none of your catamarans and HSS's!
The propulsion system makes use of a contra rotating propellor azipod propulsion system. Very interesting even if you are, like me, not an engineer but a former navigator!
