I have just joined this Forum. I sailed out of Liverpool in the 1950's, mainly with Harrison's. All good ships and all long gone.

Hi Ken, Sailed on the AUTHER arround 1989,also the PROVANCE was also on the same run,West Indies.I worked for Denholms which took over the management and crewing. The officers were mainly exHarrisons, most of the crew were Denholms. As you say I expect the ships are no longer with us.

I sailed as a second mate on Harrisons HK flagged out Denholm handy bulkers - the Pisces Pioneer and Pisces Planter around 90 - wonderful runs, but not much time in port. Good ships, though....
