Is it at all possible to transfer a single 'frame' from a digital video to a digital 'still' ?
What I have in mind is being able to Stop/Freeze a video and then 'capture' that picture as a digital photograph ?
Is this possible ?

Regards, Jim.

I had a free program called MV Snap once that copied anything on the screen. Worked fine with XP, but my Windows 7 refuses to accept it...

Stop the video at the image you want, then press Prt Sc (Print Screen) on the top row of your keyboard, to the right of F12. Your image should then be available on your photo editing software. On Jasc Paint Shop Pro, which I use, you need to click on Edit, then from the drop down menu click on Paste As New Image, and your picture should appear. I would think that other software may use a different method to bring up the image, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out. Hope this helps.
