I remember Whites. Also Capt Boyd. The last of a breed. He had run Capt Boyd's academy for backward seamen down on Corporation Street before the Tech took it over.

I did my mates ticket in Belfast 1965/6 but cant remember if it was Blythe St. I thought the street began with an M?. It was near Sandy Row.
We had to go to the bureau(dole) every friday to collect 4, I think that was in Corporation St. Then I did Masters in 1970 at the Belfast College of Technology opposite the Skandia. The examiner was Captain Newbury.

Blythe St and Maxwell Streets are off Sandy Row.

In the 1950's, Engineers attended the College of Technology in College Square. Then to Corporation Street to get Benefit on Friday afternoon.
