Just wondering if anyone remembers here in the late 1950s

I attended Blyth st in 1961 &62 for pre sea training Fondly remember Kit Carson &not so fondly capt Boyd I also remember Queens bar & whites tavern

I remember Whites. Also Capt Boyd. The last of a breed. He had run Capt Boyd's academy for backward seamen down on Corporation Street before the Tech took it over.

No I only did the pre sea course and decided that there was not going to be a lot of future.
