Ahoy,
I'm looking for a friend of mine, the Italian tanker Punta Cervo, approx. 12.000 tons,built in 50-60's;Any info would be helpful, maybe a photo?

Hi Ruud. Punto Cervo was in collision with Dutch "mv Ceta" 22nd Jan 1969. Captain of Ceta died, rest of crew saved by Punto Cervo. You may already know this. If not i hope it helps. All the best. Barney.

Yep, I knew that story,this quest is made for his son, he can't find anything of that tanker, so do I.
Btw a sailorman died as well, in that collision.

Built as "Anjou" in 1955 by Ch & At. de St Nazaire, motor tanker, 12803 grt, 19466 dwt, 557'10"x 73'08". 1962 renamed "Punta Cervo", registerd Genoa, owner Giuseppe Ravano Societa per Azioni. No other details.
