Ruahine

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I might find a listing of the cruises that the Ruahine made in 1942-43? Specifically, I am eventually trying to confirm that my father, then a newly minted "2nd Mate", sailed on her as "Extra Officer" (standing watches for a shilling a month) for a single cruise as an expedient means of getting home to New Zealand from England. As far as I know, this was his only cruise on an NZSCo vessel (previously with J & C Harrison's, afterwards with Union Steam Ship Company), although it's possible he may have also sailed earlier on an NZSCo cruise in the other direction as a deck boy, in 1937 or 1938. His name is Robert Fraser.

Best regards,
Matt
