I received a private message from a friend of Charlie Wilcox's yesterday giving me the sad news that he had crossed the bar.
I sailed with Charlie numeorus times and can still see that cheery smile, he was the first person who I made contact with after joining this site to find old ship mates.
Captain Charlie Wilcox a true Master Mariner.
A sad loss indeed.
