Ellerman Lines - City of Bath

Hi

I am looking for any information regarding the Ellerman Lines - City of Bath - Torpedoed & sunk, 02 December 1942 of the coast of Brazil by U508 (listed on www.uboat.net)

My uncle Charles (Charlie) Gibson was an engineer and survived the sinking eventually coming ashore in a lifeboat in Trinidad. My uncle died a couple of years ago and I am trying to gather some history of his service on this ship.
