British Railways' Sealink ferry taken leaving Harwich in 1970 on her afternoon run to Hook of Holland.
Later in her career she saw service in the 1982 Falklands Campaign as KEREN.I believe she went on for Mediterranean service when sold by BR.

It was the St Edmund not the St George that saw service in the Falklands Campaign and was later bought by the MOD and renamed KEREN for service to Port Stanley from Ascenion Island carring personel and cargo prior to the reopening and lenthening of the runway.

She was later sold to Cencargo in who then chartered her for 3 years to BCIF for there Poole - Channel Islands service. Later becoming the Scirroco for a new Spain Morocco service operating for a Cencaego subsidary called FerriMorocc.

Can anyone when, where and what engines St George was re-engined with, and the vessel's scrapping date?

She was re-engined with two Wartsila diesels in the winter of 1987/88, following a grounding accident that damaged her engines. Reportedly she could make a maximum speed of 23,5 afterwards.

Anyone recalls if she was sold in late-1983 or early-1984?
