For DOM..reckon the ship is called RFA Fort Beauharnois and she did take part in those tests. Long since gone from the RFA fleet. have a shufti at Google and you will find some stuff in there about her.

Hello Dom,
I was down there in 1958 on R.F.A. Tiderange and the Fort Beauharnois, was delivering stores to the people involved in the tests, she had like a general cargo, we were delivering aviation spirit for the bomber, we were there 6 weeks, and got relieved by the old Wave Ruler, was like a summer holiday,

She was at the Christmas Island nuclear test.
She was sold for scrap in 1962.

The correct spelling is FORT BEAUHARNOIS

Fort Beauharnois/MAAR.
My pal sailed on her for the Christmas Island tests. We met up when FB came to Melbourne for a R&R run.
