Ex Victory ship MONTSERRAT (45/9008) operated by Compania Transatlantica Espanola SA of Spain at her berth at Southampton (UK).
Built by California Shipbuilding Corporation as the WOOSTER VICTORY, she was sold to Sitmar and renamed CASTEL VERDE in 1950 and then to Compania Transatlantica Espanola SA in 1957 and renamed MONTSERRAT.

She had a very similar , was the BEGONA of Transatlantica espanola built
in 1945 Bethlehem-F-W . Her previous name was CASTEL BIANCO 52 and
VASSAR VICTORY.
