Attaching thumbnails to threads

Hi,

I've tried attaching jpegs to threads but it always comes up as an error as the file is too large for the space available.

I see people manage to attach thumbnails to threads, but I can't seem to fathom it out.! Can someone give me some guidance please.?

Rushie,

Basically you have to resize the image before posting it.

This thread was actually about posting photos but the principle for posting thumbnails is the same - you need to keep the image within the limits set for thumbnails. If you exceed the limit you get an error message and it tells you what the limit is.

If you save the reduced size image, make sure you use a different filename for it or keep the name and save it in a different folder so you don't over-write the original
