Microsoft now has running Virtual earth much clearer than google earth, my property with google a bit of a blur, with VE you can see chairs in the garden and people walking along road.

Hi,

You can get to it through this link here:
http://local.live.com/

I was looking around Southampton on there the other day and found some great images of cruise ships. Will post them later, they need resizing and i'm off to bed! (Thumb)

EDIT: Ok Here's a few of them. Another 3 are in my post below.

Ok, here's 3 of them (Won't let me upload any more than 3 files at a time :@ )

The first two are P&O's Arcadia from different angles and the third is P&O's Aurora as viewed from above. (All images from Virtual Earth)

I've just added two more to my post above.

Nice views of some areas although Swansea area is at least 2 years old as it shows the old Morfa stadium still standing, we now have a nice new Liberty stadium. Excellent of Southampton though.

You need to click "aerial view" at the top of page.
I've had a look at Sleights Moor above this village, there are strange marks in the ground I was not aware of. I will go for a walk there when I get over yesterdays visit to the dentist.

I forgot to say. For most of the images that I found there I had to click on "birds eye view" which appears next to "Aerial View" if the birds eye view is available in that area.
