Hi,

I have a pdf file of the Arcwear together with a photo. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to attach this to this note. You can contact me by PM to exchange email addresses and I'll send it through to you. My father sailed as C/o on the Arcwear during the 1930's. He also went through some heavy weather off Cape Town on her and I have some additional press clippings on that somewhere that I can dig out if requested.

Sparks
Many thanks for the link to Arcwear.
My photo is Stbd side, so now I have both.
The funnel logo echoes the the pronounced tumblehome of the hull design
''Arcform'.
You would think with that shape, she would roll on a wet blanket!
I did read somewhere that the design was unsuccessful and therefore dropped.
Cheers!

I discovered the request for data on the ARCWEAR only yesterday, and lest they are of interest I attach two photographs which I took at Rotterdam in 1967. She was then the Panamanian HELENE.
