File Size Limit

Is there a file size limit when uploading photos?
I am unable to upload anything around 2MB.
I have had no problems uploading photos up to 1.8MB.

If you look at your gallery you'll see that the size of your pics has been reduced.

In the gallery all pics are automatically reduced to 900 x 800 pixels by the software. I don't know if that's limited to 2mb for the orginating file but I do know it struggles with big files.(EEK)

In threads there is no automatic sizing and your pic must be 800 x 600 max before even trying or it'll reject it and tell you that it's too big.:sweat:

I've found it best and quickest to reduce the file to the max sizes before even trying to post.

Fubar is quite right - there is no point uploading large files as apart from anything else it takes too long and adds no value. If anyone really wants a high quality copy they can always ask you via a Personal Message.
