i joined british lady in october 1954 at grangemouth, running across to norway for honnigsvag, but ran ashore and holed trying to get through heavy ice, there was a camera team aboard at the time, possibly bbc. so there might be film around the archives.the cargo was taken off by barges and we steamed back to south shields for dry dock. i eventually paid off in tilbury. 3 dec 1954, i am not sure if this was the wartime ship or not.
her on. was 184466. grt. 6140.35. nhp. 150.7.

Hi Ian, the British Lady was scrapped and broken up in 1947.
You must have been on the later ship.
All the best.
