You have probably accidentally changed the settings. You should be able to correct this as follows:
1. Start windows but don't start any applications.
2. Right-click on the screen and select Properties
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. Select another screen resolution size - I am sorry but I can't say which is right for your machine you will have to experiment. My laptop runs at 1600x1200 but it depends on the make and model. You will be given the opportunity to test the new setting and revert if you pick a duff one. When you get the right size you can OK it and Bob's your Uncle.

I have to add that it is possible to make the mistaken changes, blind.
There are the odd occasions, when the computer is occupied with
some function or backing up something, or loading a character set, whilst
browsing, etc., and I do have a twitchy third finger, and the thing
twitches at the wrong moment. PC remembers the mouse stroke, when
it comes cback from being pre-occupied, summat has gone, or something
has changed - only happened three times now, but I always know what
to do to get it all back, thank goodness. I am a stickler for back-ups.
And I keep screenshots of dialogue boxes, so I always know what the
settings are supposed to be.
Best of Luck, Raymond
