By David Carpenter
it gives a insight to a Marine Engineer Apprenticeship in a shoreside works
in the docklands in London in the Fifties proir to a career at sea.
I found this book to be well worth reading, it was amazing to find that
Mr.Carpenters Apprenticeship served in a large establishment was similar
to mine in a small marine workshop in the Northeast of Scotland with Five
Apprentices. I can only say as a ex. marine engineer its well worth reading.
Well done David.
