A very happy ship, European Officers and Chinese crew. Sailed on her when on the New Zealand Japan run . Good party ship especially on NZ coast.I was on her 70/71 as 2nd Eng . Paid off in Napier and came to live in NZ. Definately had some good shipmates on there , anyone remember Sucko sadley killed in a road accident or Norrie Reed freezer . Old shipmates can contact me at ******* (Wave)

Ahoy,
Once again, I have edited out an email address posted on an Open Forum. This is not a good idea as, although with the best of intentions, it may result in some unwelcome mail arriving in your Inbox, and that's what you're not waiting for, isn't it?

Love their coulor scheme !.....how did they keep them looking so bloody smart all the time, can't ever remember seeing a scruffy one at all. Allways remember standing on deck when going in to a port and without a doubt the first to be spotted was allways the star boats.....we knew it was party time then.

If my memory serves me correct, I can recall seeing who was responsible for leaving our calling card on the dockside. Obviously it was good paint to last this long.
