OCL container ship photographed at anchor off Greenock waiting to berth in the mid 1980s.She had been diverted to the Clyde because of a strike at Southampton.
I think originally she was a Nedlloyd ship chartered. This before P&O and Nedlloyd amalgamated.

The Largs Bay was chartered by OCL from Nedlloyd. The Nedlloyd Houtman was at the time the largest container ship in the world (by deadweight), frequently acheiving 27+ knots. OCL operated the vessel in the Trio service.
