Introduction

Halcyon Loch is included in the list of Court Line Ships based on references to it in the external resources listed below but currently it is not clear what connection Court Line had with her other than that the Halcyon prefix was used by Court Line for its tankers.

She had a working life starting in 1964 and continuing until at least 1983 after which time no information has been discovered. She changed names and owners on several occasions and was involved in a serious collision in 1980.

She was involved in a collision in 1980 at Canakkale with the livestock carrier Pezzata Rossa which sustained serious damage forward.

No information has been discovered about the final disposal of this ship and if any reader has information about this they are invited to contact SN member Benjidog so that this entry can be updated. Unusually there is nothing about this ship on the Miramar website under any of her names or her official number.
