From SN Guides

Contents

Creating a new Directry entry from this template

To help start off a new Directory entry, you can very easily create a standard outline using the instructions on this page.

The entry created will look like everything on this page below the white line starting with Introduction.

Do the following:

  1. Start off the new entry by typing it's name in the search box and clicking on Go.
  2. Assuming there is no entry of this name, you will be presented with a screen which tells you how to create the entry. Follow the instructions and you will be shown a blank entry screen.
  3. Add the following line in the screen exactly as shown: {{subst:Directory outline for a ship}}
    • It is suggested that you copy and paste this to avoid mistakes
  4. Save the entry using the Save Page button - you will see that it now contains the content of the template as shown below
  5. Open your new Directory entry for editing and update it as appropriate
  6. See what it looks like by pressing the Show Preview button
  7. When it looks about right, save it in case something goes wrong or you will have to start again!
  8. Adjust as appropriate
