She had a 33 year service history including playing a significant part in WW2 convoys and was finally broken up in 1961
No information is available about Tilsington Court's service before WW2 other that that she was laid up on the Tyne for a number of years during the depression of the 1930s.
Tilsington Court took part in 90 convoys during WW2 - a remarkable achievement - but not the record for a Court Line ship!
