Uffington Court was in service from 1929 until 1967 so had a long working life of 38 years. During this period she served on a large number of WW2 convoys and changed owners and name on several occasions.
No information is available about Uffington Court’s service before WW2 but according to External resource #4 she was not laid up during the 1930s depression like many of the Court Line ships.
