The Derwent was buit in 1949 at Cammell Laird,Birkenhead as "Persic" for Shaw Savill. She was 13,593tg and had twin SR turbines. In 1969 she was transferred to Royal Mail Line and renamed Derwent to replace Duquesa. Scrapped 1971 Bilbao, Spain
