Show me maps and ships or odd nautical places.
I'm completely stumped when it comes to faces !
Just for the crack I'll have a go.
Here's my guess, Admiral Jellicoe

It could possibly be another actor? Something about him looks familiar, and I am absolutely not familiar with old time naval officers...

I too am like JG -
A face, all too often, gets past me.
But, heck, its lunchtime,
I'll flaunt my words!
For me, it could be Admiral Richard Byrd.

Rgds.

The only active Russian aircraft carrier. Conventionally powered.

The blurb says it is Cumbria's busiest port and can handle vessels up to 16m beam. However, it says,"vessels up to 114m length have been docked successfully" - Makes you wonder if they tried, unsuccessfully, to dock let's say a 116m vessel!
One port that interests me is Workington - One day I will research it!
Rgds.

San Sebastian, Spain? On second thoughts, Biarritz France, white building in foreground is a maritime museum of sorts.

I'm thinking Monte Carlo, that looks like a private compound with a very private beach.
