I am writing this on behalf of my father,Dave Lambert otherwise known as chrome dome.
Very new to this site but have already noted some of the threads relating to his time on those tankers identified in his profile,and will be responding in due course. Meanwhile look forward to commnicating with anyone from that time.

I sailed with your Father Dave Lambert and had great respect for him. While on Lauderdale I remember he was quite partial to the Cornish Pasties my Wife had prepared in the galley.
