Black Lifeboats
BI went through a phase of having black lifeboats! Does anyone remember what colour they were inside?

Stone colour! (the black painted boats which were phased out in 1949, had a white rubbing strake with a chocolate coloured gunwale)

Hi Tom,
Thanks. I have altready made the boats now (apart from the motor launch), so too late to change! Black outside as per photographs of ship, but white thwarts! (Sofala). Bob
