I am going trans-Atlantic on the Cruise ship Athena to Rio in March. She was originally the "Stockholm" which rammed the Andrea Doria at full speed in 1956 or thereabouts, and I remember the rumours that followed. I was a Second Officer with Mollers of Hong Kong at the time.
Does anyone have comments or recollections which would help me give a talk on the subject while on my cruise soon. Thanks. John B. E-mail johnbeaton2@toucansurf.com
John,
maybe not such a good idea to give a talk on how she struck and sank the
Andrea Doria. Maybe you will cause a few heart attacks and cause panic amongst those that are of a nervous disposition.

REPLY TO ALL RESPONDENTS t Thanks to everyone Yes been all around the web, but I wondered if there were any insights to the court case details which were never disclosed.. eg. Father Confessor on the bridge. John Beaton.
