I am looking for info on 'HONFLEUR', the LSWR railway steamer built in Glasgow in about 1874.

Miramar is a bit brief on the vessel with no dates, can anybody fill in with name changes and disposal data ?

A friend photographed her in the Bosphorus in 1981 but has drawn a blank with further info.

Many thanks in advance ...

Cheers

Andy

Hi Gdynia ...

Many thanks for this, I really appreciate your insomnia, posting at nearly 4am !

This vessel must be a serious candidate in the 'longest lived mechanically powered vessel' stakes.

Cheers

Andy
