There is probably an obvious answer to this: why did some of the Port Line ships, such as the Port Auckland, have shorter accomodation blocks, and others, such as the Port Sydney, have longer accomodation blocks, and the bridge one deck lower? Where they intended for different ports of call, different cargoes or more passgengers?
