Hello everyone

Two of us are considering travelling on the Athena to Osaka in 2013. We would like to hear from anyone who has travelled or is intending to travel on her. We are thinking about a Junior Cabin on the Pacific deck, as it suits our budget and has more room than a lot of other cabins. As this deck is very low and only has a port-hole feeling a bit nervous about our decision. Can anyone give me some thoughts on a cabin in this position. Would it be gloomy or perhaps uncomfortable being so low down. Look forward to some thoughts. Have also read that she rolls a lot.

Bev

Thanks everyone

Not quite used to how this all works yet. Know I haven't replied to everyone, so thanks for the welcome from all of you.

Greetings Bev and welcome to SN. If you are low down on the ship it does not move around as much as if you are on a upper deck. Bon voyage.
