Office Staff Coasting
In 1959 Maskeliya played host to a number (5 or 6) office girls from the Brocks Office at the Cunard Building.
These girls joined us for a trip "round the coast" finishing in Liverpool. They had a great time and enjoyed seeing how "the other half live". I have some pictures of these Ladies in and around Maskeliya's magnicient bar. They made a huge impact - the lads were all perfectly turned out with clean hands & faces and highly polished shoes. Did this ever happen again?

Don't tease us Ted, get them posted and we can all have a look! I am sure it will bring back memories for all of us.
I can well remember an absolutely stunning girl that worked for the Radio Department in the mid 60's but I think she would be too young to have been working for Brock's in the late 50's. Very much looking forward to seeing them. |

Ted, I don't think I recognise any those I must say, including the all male photo. Was the last photo taken at the same time, it must have been very hot round the coast if you were in whites.
