Nice to see a photo of the old tub. I was JOS on her from Aug.55- Jan.56. She had a fire in the engine room in the Irish sea and was towed into Dublin for repairs. Engines had trouble again before going into the Panama Canal. Anchored for 10 days waiting for a new piston from London. She was pretty basic, even ice water was scarce. But she had a great crew and the food was good. That more than made up for her inefficiencies.
