A very good source for DVD's, Video's and books about Liverpool and the Wirral, including shipping is 'The Wirral Champion'. Go to their website - http://wirralchampion.co.uk
Click on 'Products' then click on the list running down the left side of the screen, for whatever your looking for.
The 'Overhead Railway' DVD or Video is brilliant.

Thanks for that Sow-sow-La ... I am an ex-Wirral lad myself and appreciate the info. My sister was a Royal Navy WREN on the HMS "Eaglet" (2) and will appreciate that book. I will most probably cough up for the Overhead Railway DVD also. Snowy

There is a fantastic series of shipping dvds available at Valerie's Videos
(www.website.lineone.net/~rhaywood) Of particular interest to SN members,
is a 26 part series called The Great Liners, covering all the major shipping companies passenger and cargo ship operations from the turn of the century to their demise in the 70s.
regards
Brian

I have tried both the websites mentioned on this thread. In spite of trying each numerous times I am constantly told that there is an error and the site cannot be found.
Can anybody help?.
