WW1 Wreck
I have a rather obscure question. I watched a show last night on shipwrecks, and the show was about them finding Russian Czar's lost monitor. It was found in the Baltic (I think) with it's nose buried in the sand, and the stern sticking upright, like a fencepole.
Here's my question. If my memory serves me, (which is sometimes debatable), isn't there a RN ship that was sunk in WW1 that ended up the same way? I think they found it in the meditteranean, and were surprised to find it vertical. Is my memory shot, or does someone remember this? |

This is in the wrong thread. If one of you fine gentlemen could move it to the wreck thread, I'd be ever so thankfule.
