Peruvian Navy
What other British ships did the Peruvian Navy posses from 1939 until the present day apart from the cruiser HMS Ceylon which went into sevice with their navy in February 1960 and sailed out of Portsmouth shortly after.

Peruvian purchases
Peru also took the RN cruiser Newfoundland plus the destroyers Decoy and Diana. They also took a couple of Dutch cruisers and six destroyers, plus a couple of USN destroyers. They bought new Italian Lupo class frigates and French missile boats.
