The Book: A Ship So Far
Any body read this one? Heard about it a few years ago and was wondering if any SN members have come across it?
Synopsis reads: This is an entertaining look back at a young engineer's experiences in the British Merchant Navy in the 1960s. Blending fun, humor, drama and near catastrophe, the author recaptures the authentic atmosphere of those vanished days and recall the characters he met, on board and ashore, and their often complex relationships.
