According to the site there may be a picture in volume XVIII - Plate No. 128 of 'Cardiff Yesterday'. It refers to " SS Llanberis, Thomas Radcliffe & Co., Crew, Group Photo ", The introdution page says that all volumes are available in Cardiff library.

Sorry Dave can't place it. there was a watts watts ship tailing us most of the time our paths crossed a lot she was even slower than us. Tell can't recall her name either

Reardon Smiths of Cardiff had five ships in all, that they named Eastern City. The first was back in about 1913. In 1948, you would be talking about number three, built in 1941.

Ruud I can't thank you enough, this was my first deep sea vessel, She was a very unhappy ship and a very bad feeder, but this is what nostalgia is all about , I have never been able to get a pic of her although I believe there is one in a Cardiff Museum, once again thanks. Tell.

I joined the Llantrisant as EDH at Greenock 19 jan 1966 doing the continent Medi ,India & Burmah then doing the same back .left her in Antwerp 14 july 1966

I sailed on LLANTRISANT as 2nd.eng. dec.1962 to july 1963. C/E. was j j smith.who was previously the 2nd eng. Ships off. No 185370
