Hi Everybody
Has there ever been any other occupation that brings on such nostalgia.
Here I am fifty odd years away from being at sea and I still miss the life.
I came out of a Children's Home to the Prince of Wales Sea Training School at Ingham in Norfolk in 1949 and then sailed for eight years with the NZSC.
There is a Crossed Flags Association here in NZ which is pretty active.
In theory I am retired but I am still painting landscapes, sescapes and portraits of ships.
All the best to everyone out there

Welcome aboard, Dennis. You'll have a marvelous time here, some terrific people with lots to share. Perhaps we could see some of your ship portraits?
