Clearance
Hi Everybody I was just looking at Oriana's world cruise and dreaming a little and I have noticed that she is docking at Okinawa for three hours for "clearance only" anybody know what this is and what it's for.

Could be advanced clearance : customs, immigration, port health etc for Japanese coastal ports on Intinerary to save hassle at each port of entry.

If it helps the ports either side are Hong Kong, Okinawa,Keelung and then cairns. Paul |
