Talking Looking For Help !

Hi Everyone,

I am researching my dads MN career and am looking for information specifically pictures of the following boats:

SAMINDORO (OFFICIAL NO.180492 OR 180498 NOT SURE WHICH NUMBER IS CORRECT)

LETCHWOOD (OFFICIAL NO: 168940)

SEA FISHER
FORT St FRANCOIS
CAPE BRETON (OFFICIAL No:167607)
GURDEN GATES (OFFICIAL No:169665)
WESTBURN (O.N 160315)
CRANFORD (O.N 180142)
TRELAWNEY(O.N 183080)
LOTTINGE (O.N : 187420)
LONGFELLOW (O.N 185918)

Another member has very kindly pointed me to a website 'miramar' which has given me a great deal of info. However I am now seeking photo's of the ships and stories to go with them when my father was on them. My dads MN time ranged from 1946 to 1959.

Best Regards to you all

Chris Warriner

Hi Chris.
Photos of Trelawney, Lottinge and Longfellow at http://www.photoship.co.uk/
I am sure the other guys will get the rest.
Ian
ps. The Empire Caxton O.N 168940 was renamed Letchworth in 1945

Hello,

Here's a photo of 'Letchworth'. http://www.shipsnostalgia.com/galler...hp?photo=78091

Probably 'Gurden Gates' as 'Baltic Queen'.

http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20...0Queen-02.html

'Samindoro' as 'Sandsend': http://www.merchant-navy.net/Pictures/sandsend.html
http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20...ndsend-01.html

Probably 'Westburn' as 'Delos'. http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20.../Delos-02.html

'Granford' (O.N. 180142 refers to 'Granford') as 'Fulmar'. http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20...Fulmar-02.html

'Longfellow' as 'Bushwood':
