Just to say 'Hello' and ask if anyone out there knows where I can get photos suitable for framing of m.v. 'Roseland' (Coaster, owned at one time in Leith), 'Chelsea Pioneer', products tanker, believed to be ex 'Bawean' of P & O. I have scoured the net in all the usual places, no luck. I am assembling a collection of ships I sailed on- I am now at that time of life where one does that sort of thing . The owners of 'Roseland were a family firm based in Lieth, name long forgotten, and 'Chelsea Pioneer' was owned by the Chelsea Girl firm of ladies outfitters (go on, have a laugh, we used to !) but I have not been able to trace them. Can anyone help, please ? Any ex Palm Line chaps out there ? Out.(K)
Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Cedric.
You'll be surprised at how many Palm Line lads there are in the crew.
Find your way around the ship, jin in and enoy the trip.
