Hi,
I see that the Ryde is to be scrapped and has already been pulled onto her side for this to start. Is anyone here able to photograph this sad end of this once popular paddler Cheers Alan |

Does anyone know if the engine is still in the ships & if it can or will be saved for prosperity?

I expect when she is finally scrapped there will be an article in the Isle of Wight County Press. It is not easy to get up to her now without a car and I no longer have a car. There was an attempt to save her by a group of enthusiasts and the contact I knew of was Matt Birkin at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, 01983 884343 is the only number I can find at the moment.
