Port Vindex

Hello and good Evening. Anyone please have a decent picture of the 'Port Vindex'. Sailed on here as Radio Officer in 1964 and recently read a very interesting book about her service as a convoy escort carrier during the Second World war. Many thanks...J.A. Gray

Just had a look and it's almost all i wanted .Pic. in b/w but it's the first I come across.
i don't know if you sailed on her, but my accomodation was aft of no.3 hold with my cabin and the Radio Room spanning the full width, well almost. Cracking ship wish I stayed on a bit longer, but at the time one voyage down under seemed enough. Thanks again and bibi
