Revenue Cutters
Don't know if anyone is interested in the Revenue Cutters that worked out of the Clyde only I have just found a book called "Clyde coast smuggling" which explains the duties, men and cutters that sailed up there around the 1700's, one of my ancestors worked on the Royal George and there is a copy of a painting of her in the book, it all makes very interesting reading.
