Brent Chambers Ship Pictures
We should all be grateful to Brent Chambers of New Zealand who is trolling through his collection of ship photographs and posting a full series of Bank Line ships in the Gallery. Look for the ships you have sailed on and make comments so that there is a record of stories and observations attached to the ship name and photograph in the SN archives.

the comment next to one of Brents photos re Phosphate/sulphur discharge at geelong brought back many memories.
my first time there was on the maplebank late 1952 with sulphur from port sulphur9that was after we had spent a couple of weeks in Todd johston shipyard after an engine room fire at the mouth of the river).then did a couple of runs there from Nauru and ocean island,had really great times there and remember the girls with great fondness.
