Chief Engineer on The Queen Elizabeth 1944
Hi, there is a story within my wifes family that one of her uncles was chief Engineer on the Queen Elizabeth, His Name was Robert Conaty and he was originally from North Shields.
He then lived in Vancouver B.C. until his death. The time period was during the 1940's, I realize it is a long shot as it was so long ago now but if there is any way of this being substantiated we would be grateful. Malcommon. |
